The Maasai are a semi-nomadic tribe that lives in Kenya and Tanzania. They herd cattle and goats and are known for their strength as warriors and their colourful culture. One of the challenges maasi children face is the long distances they travel to get to goverment funded schools. The land they walk across is rich with wildlife, including lions. To protect their children, the Maasai people who live next to Amboseli National Park are building a school near their village. Voices Under One Sun has contributed funds to support the school.
