Since 2020, the unrelenting drought that has impacted the Horn of Africa has left 20 million people facing food and water insecurity. Tens of thousands of people have died, crops have shriveled, livestock has starved, and food and water insecurity continue to spread. The Hadzabe people, a hunter-gatherer society that lives in northern Tanzania, are among the tribes significantly impacted by climate change. The Hadzabe face other threats, including loss of land to farming and wildlife preservation. The Hadzabe people are proud of their culture and lifestyle. Voices Under One Sun is supporting the Hadzabe children by providing much needed clothing.
